Too Young is a mixed media project based on my partner, Sophie’s, cancer diagnosis at just 18 years old. I created this sculpture as a visualisation of my most prominent memories from Sophie’s treatment: information booklets that tried and failed to prepare us, a sick bucket, and pills scattered across the floor. Along side this I created a film which included footage from Sophies treatment, the making of the project and animated mixed media. Also included in this body of work are digital paintings relating to my experience.
